Abbott Labs sets dividend of 40 cents

NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. — Abbott Labs declared a quarterly cash dividend of 40 cents per share.

The pharmaceutical company said the dividend is payable on Feb. 15, 2010, to shareholders of record as of Jan. 15.
