InterDigital chairman Campagna dies at 70

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. — Wireless technology developer InterDigital Inc. said Tuesday its board would meet soon to review its composition after the death of its longtime chairman, Harry Campagna.

Campagna, 70, joined the board of InterDigital in 1994 and was named chairman in 1996. The company now has five directors.

The company said it will continue to seek new independent directors and convene soon to consider potential successors for the chairman’s job.

Fellow board member Robert Roath offered his gratitude on behalf of the board and management team for Campagna’s “wisdom and guidance.”
