AthenaHealth names new chief financial officer
WATERTOWN, Mass. — AthenaHealth Inc. said Monday it has named Timothy M. Adams, an executive at a private investment firm and a medical industry veteran, as its chief financial officer.
He succeeds Carl B. Byers, who announced last year that he would leave the company to pursue a personal goal of living abroad.
Adams most recently served as an executive of Constitution Medical Investors, a Boston investment firm focused on the health care industry.
Prior to that, he served as CFO at several health industry companies, including medical device makers Orthofix International N.V. and Cytyc Corp.
