Gymboree’s Lambert to retire, Harris to become CFO
SAN FRANCISCO — Children’s apparel retailer Gymboree Corp. said Thursday that Blair Lambert will retire from his role as chief financial officer after the third quarter ends.
Lambert will continue to serve as chief operating officer until then, while Jeffrey Harris, vice president of finance, has been tapped to take on the CFO role.
Lambert will remain as a board member after his planned retirement.
Gymboree also raised its fourth-quarter profit outlook Thursday, the second time in less than a month, as its net sales improved.
The company ran 953 stores as of Jan. 30.
