AOL co-founder to be chairman of Exclusive Resorts
DENVER — AOL co-founder Steve Case was named chairman of Exclusive Resorts LLC, a luxury vacation membership club.
Case, who is the majority owner of the company, also is leading a $20 million round of equity financing. He has been on the board of directors since 2003.
Exclusive Resorts offers luxury vacations at private homes worldwide. In the past year, it has added 49 new homes in Lake Tahoe, Calif., Sea Island, Ga., Miraval, Ariz., and Kapalua Bay, Maui.
The company, based in Denver, has more than 3,000 members.
