Rockwell Collins spent over $208K lobbying in 4Q
WASHINGTON — Rockwell Collins Inc. spent $208,774 lobbying the government on aviation, air traffic control systems and more in the fourth quarter, according to a recent disclosure form.
That’s less than the $137,159 the company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa spent in the third quarter. It’s also less than the $160,928 the company spent in the year-ago period.
Rockwell, a maker of electronics and services aviation systems, lobbied on the Federal Aviation Administration authorizations, inspection language, and the FAA’s NextGen satellite-based air traffic control system, among other topics during the October through December period.
The company lobbied both houses of Congress, the departments of Transportation and Defense, the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, the Office of Management & Budget and others, according to the form filed Jan. 12 with the House clerk’s office.
