Autoliv resumes dividend payments
STOCKHOLM — Swedish auto parts maker Autoliv Inc. has resumed quarterly dividend payments, saying it would distribute 30-cent per share for the third quarter of 2010.
The dividend will be payable on Sept. 2 to Autoliv shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 5.
Autoliv last paid a dividend in the fourth quarter of 2008. The company suspended quarterly payments to save cash during a sharp downturn in global auto markets.
Company shares fell $2.72, or 5.3 percent, to $48.77 in afternoon trading.
