Learning Tree fiscal 2Q loss narrows
RESTON, Va. — Learning Tree International Inc., which sells information technology training courses, said Tuesday that its fiscal second-quarter loss narrowed slightly, even as revenue declined, due to lower operating expenses.
For the quarter that ended April 2, Learning Tree reported a loss of $1.3 million, or 9 cents per share, compared with a loss of $1.4 million, or 9 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue fell 7 percent to $28.3 million.
Operating expenses also declined, falling 10 percent to $16.8 million.
Learning Tree shares fell 63 cents, or 4.2 percent, to close at $14.35.
