GULF OF MEXICO (GaeaTimes.com)- If the recent declaration made by the British Petroleum that it has decided to set aside $20 billion to help the gulf people affected by the spill made the gulf residents feel that the company is at last seriously trying to help them then the latest action of the Chief Executive officer Tony Hayward has left them fall back upon their old idea. Adding to the fury of the residents of the Gulf of Mexico area is the latest new that the CEO of the British Petroleum Tony Hayward had flown back to England to attend an exclusive yachting ceremony.

According to reports, Tony Hayward had flown back to England to see a yacht race around the Isle of Wight on the southern England. Tony Hayward is particularly interested to see whether the 52-foot yacht named “Bob” is able to make it big during the race. Defending the latest action of Tony Hayward the British Petroleum spokesman Robert Wine has said that it is the first break that the company CEO is enjoying since April 20 when the oil well started leaking. According to Robert Wine, Tony Hayward has just gone to spend some hours “with his family at a weekend” adding that he is sure that everybody will understand his situation.

However, this explanation provided by Robert Wine is in no way helping the present case of Tony Hayward. After learning about the weekend trip of Tony Hayward, Bobby Pitre one of the residents of the Gulf of Mexico area who has a tattoo shop in Larose said to a media source, “Man, that ain’t right” saying that while none of the people of the area could go out for fishing, the CEO of the company that is responsible for the present crisis is enjoying a yacht race in England.
