Raytheon gets another $17M in Defense contract
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Raytheon Co. said Monday that one of its subsidiaries has won a $17 million U.S. Department of Defense contract to help government analysts translate information from foreign languages.
The deal covers the fifth and final year of a four-year-old initiative know as the Global Autonomous Language Exploitation program, in which Raytheon’s BBN Technologies unit has provided translation software for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Raytheon shares were up 19 cents to $53.44 in morning trading.
