Microsoft names new VP of global partner group
REDMOND, Wash. — Microsoft Corp. said Thursday it has named Jon Roskill as corporate vice president of its worldwide partner group, effective July 1.
Previously, he served as corporate vice president of the company’s business and marketing organization in the U.S.
Allison Watson, currently corporate vice president of the Microsoft Partner Group, will take on Roskill’s previous role.
Microsoft said it transfers executives across the company to give them a diverse set of experiences within the company.
Shares of the software maker fell 31 cents to close at $25.
