Adtran board declares dividend of 9 cents per share, payable Aug. 12 to shareholders

Adtran OKs dividend of 9 cents per share

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Adtran Inc. said Wednesday its board of directors approved a second-quarter cash dividend of 9 cents per common share.

The networking equipment maker will pay the dividend on Aug. 12 to shareholders of record on July 29.

Shares of Adtran rose $1.77, or 6.1 percent, to $30.63 in morning trading after rising to a 52-week high of $31.19 earlier in the session.
