FAMILY: Married with six kids, 13 grandchildren.
BACKGROUND: Began his business career in 1965 in product management at General Foods. Named chief operating officer at Citigroup and its principal subsidiary, Citibank, N.A. in 1990.
Later served as CEO of Medco Containment Services, Inc. until its acquisition by Merck & Co., Inc. Spent a year as a principal at private equity firm, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. Served as chairman of True North Communications Inc. from 1997 to 1999.
Worked as Chairman and CEO of Priceline.com from 1998 to 2004. Meanwhile he served as Chairman of the private equity firm MidOcean Partners from 2003 to 2007. Braddock became Chairman of FreshDirect in 2005 and took on the role of CEO in March of 2008.
OTHER: Braddock also serves on the board of directors of Eastman Kodak Company; Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts; Cristo Rey Network, a work study program for inner-city high school kids, and several private companies.
He is a trustee of the Manhattan Institute and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
