Herley names former Unisys executive to board

LANCASTER, Pa. — Herley Industries Inc. on Friday named former Burroughs Corp. and Unisys Corp. executive Gerald Gagliardi to its board of directors.

Gagliardi spent 28 years at Burroughs, which later merged with Sperry Corp. to form Unisys. His roles there included president of global customer service. He is also a former CEO of Inacom Corp.

Gagliardi is replacing Admiral Robert Moore, who died in October. His appointment expands the board to six members.

Herley designs and develops microwave-based technology for the aerospace, defense and medical industries.
