Horace Mann Educators boosts dividend 52 percent
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Insurance company Horace Mann Educators Corp. said its board increased its quarterly dividend by 2.75 cents, or 52 percent, to 8 cents.
“The Board’s decision to increase the dividend at this time reflects Horace Mann’s financial strength and strong capital position,” said CEO Louis Lower in a statment.
The Springfield, Ill., company said the dividend is payable Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 21.
