SAIC gets $37M Navy training and support deal
MCLEAN, Va. — Defense contractor Science Applications International Corp. said Tuesday it received a contract that could be worth more than $37 million to provide technical and training support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
Under this follow-on task order, SAIC said it will provide its services to U.S. Navy Surface Warfare’s Special Operating Forces and other Defense Department agencies.
The contract has a two-year base period and three options to extend the deal by one year. The contract would be worth $37 million if all options were exercised.
The work will be performed in Crane, Ind., and at other locations as required.
Shares of SAIC rose 2 cents to $19.03 in afternoon trading.
