GameTech names Glisson as president, CEO

RENO, Nev. — Electronic bingo systems and equipment company GameTech International Inc. has named Floyd “Bud” Glisson president and CEO-elect of the company.

Former President and CEO Jay Meilstrup resigned effective Feb. 23, the company said late Wednesday.

The company said Glisson’s appointment as President and CEO is expected to become effective on March 15.

Glisson has served as CEO of Acres Gaming, and as chief financial officer of a unit of ConAgra.

Shares of GameTech rose 4 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $1.79 in afternoon trading Thursday.
