Savvis names interim CEO to permanent post

ST. LOUIS — Computer network services provider Savvis Inc. said Monday it has named James E. Ousley as CEO.

Ousley, 64, had been serving as interim CEO for the past two months. He is also chairman.

Ousley has served as non-executive chairman of Savvis since May 2006 and as a director since April 2002, the company said.

Philip J. Koen, the previous CEO, resigned Jan 8.

Shares fell 2 cents to close at $15.72.
