Terra Industries Inc., up $1.12 at $46.95
The fertilizer company said its board favors a bid to be acquired by CF Industries instead of a previous agreement with Norway’s Yara.
American Eagle Outfitters Inc., up $1.05 at $18.20
American Eagle’s fiscal fourth-quarter profit rose 81 percent as demand for its teen clothing and accessories improved.
Micron Technology Inc., up 46 cents at $9.87
At least two analysts reiterated their upbeat outlooks for the chip maker, saying demand and pricing are working in its favor.
J. Crew Group Inc., down $2.03 at $44.96
An analyst cut her rating on the clothing retailer, saying the company’s stock price seems to discount much of its good news.
American International Group Inc., up $3.47 at $36.24
The insurer priced its secondary public offering of nearly 8.5 million shares that a subsidiary owns in Transatlantic Holdings Inc.

Facet Biotech Corp., up $10.80 at $27.01
Drug and medical products company Abbott Laboratories said it will buy Facet Biotech for about $450 million in cash.
InterMune Inc., up $15.09 at $38.39
A Food and Drug Administration panel voted in favor of approval for its experimental treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an often fatal lung disease for which there are no approved drugs.
CardioNet Inc., up 37 cents at $6.88
An analyst upgraded the stock, saying commercial health insurers are paying CardioNet more money than Medicare.
