DuPont CEO compensation more than doubles to $8.3M
DOVER, Del. — An Associated Press analysis shows DuPont CEO Ellen Kullman received compensation of about $8.3 million last year, more than double the $3.37 million from a year earlier.
Kullman, who has overseen DuPont’s efforts to cut costs and increase productivity, received a salary of $1.1 million, up from $703,000 in 2008, and performance bonuses of $1.5 million, compared with $718,000 a year earlier. She also received stock shares and options valued at almost $5.4 million, almost triple the amount in 2008.
The AP calculation is based on a regulatory filing. It aims to isolate the value company boards place on CEOs’ total compensation package. It includes salary, bonus, incentives, perks and the estimated value of stock options and awards.
