Franklin Resources names Jennifer Bolt its COO
SAN MATEO, Calif. — Franklin Resources Inc., the parent of Franklin Templeton Investments, on Monday said Jennifer Bolt was named to the newly created position of chief operating officer last week.
Bolt, 45, was previously executive vice president of operations and technology for the investment manager. She has worked for the company since 1988.
She oversees personnel matters, Franklin Templeton’s global transfer agency operations, investment management services, the company’s banking subsidiaries and certain technology issues.
Franklin shares closed up $1.05 at $111.42. In aftermarket electronic trading, the stock lost 27 cents to $111.15.
