Ford, Research in Motion, Citigroup are big movers
NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Ford Motor Co., up 6 cents at $12.63
The automaker said its U.S. sales jumped almost 40 percent in March, driven by demand for its Fusion and Taurus sedans.
Borders Group Inc., up 82 cents at $2.54
The book seller announced new financing, paid back a $42.5 million loan and outlined a plan to revive sales.
AZZ Inc., up $4.61 at $38.46
The electrical equipment maker’s quarterly results topped expectations and it plans to buy North American Galvanizing & Coatings Inc.
Citigroup Inc., up 13 cents at $4.18
The bank raised more than $320 million from the initial public offering of its life insurance unit, Primerica Inc.
CarMax Inc., up 96 cents at $26.08
The used car dealership’s quarterly profit doubled because of higher prices and increased customer traffic.
NASDAQ:
Research in Motion Ltd., down $5.49 at $68.48
The Blackberry smartphone maker’s fourth-quarter shipments of phones were short of analyst expectations.
Xyratex Ltd., up $1.68 at $18.61
Shares hit a 52-week high after the data storage company turned a first-quarter profit on strengthening sales.
Ardea Biosciences Inc., up $2.24 at $20.50
The San Diego company said its hyperuricema drug treatment candidate met key goals during a clinical trial.
