Goldman Sachs, Google, AMD are big movers
NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Goldman Sachs Group Inc., down $23.57 at $160.70
The government accused Goldman of defrauding investors by failing to disclose conflicts of interest in mortgage investments it sold.
Bank of America Corp., down $1.07 at $18.41
The bank said first-quarter earnings rose as strong trading revenue helped the bank offset continuing losses on consumer loans.
General Electric Co., down 53 cents at $18.97
The industrial and financial bellwether posted a 32 percent drop in earnings but said it saw signs of improvement.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc., down 35 cents at $9.81
The microprocessor maker returned to profitability in the first quarter as it benefited from a strengthening computer market.
Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., up 50 cents at $6.87
Billionaire investor Carl Icahn raised his bid for the movie and TV studio from $6 to $7 per share.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc., down 74 cents at $4.22
The doughnut maker recorded a profit and said its sales at stores open at least a year rose for the quarter and the fiscal year.
NASDAQ:
Nvidia Corp., down 95 cents at $17.06
An analyst downgraded the stock to “hold” from “strong buy,” saying the company’s new graphics chips are beset by problems.
Google Inc., down $45.15 at $550.15
Google said its earnings rose 37 percent and revenue surged 23 percent, exceeding analyst expectations.
