Ameren CEO Voss elected board chairman

Ameren elects CEO Voss as board chair

ST. LOUIS — Ameren Corp. said Tuesday that company President and Chief Executive Thomas R. Voss has been elected chairman of the utility company’s board.

Voss, 62, has been CEO since last May. He was previously president and CEO of the company’s Missouri utility, AmerenUE. He was elected at the company’s annual meeting.

Voss replaces Executive Chairman Gary L. Rainwater, who retired Tuesday after 31 years with the company.
