The investment bank said it has no knowledge of a reported federal investigation into whether it misled investors over its role in mortgage derivative deals.
Fluor Corp., up $2.92 to $53.39
The construction company said it could receive more than $8.8 billion in contracts in the second quarter, which would be a quarterly record.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared the Canadian drug developer to conduct mid-stage tests on its potential bladder cancer treatment.
Intel Corp., up 81 cents to $23.09
Rising demand for the company’s computer chips should boost revenue and net income over the next few years, said CEO Paul Otellini.
IBM Corp., up $5.79 to $132.68
The company said it expects to earn at least $20 per share in 2015 as the recession wanes and companies spend more on technology.
Achillion Pharmaceuticals Inc., up 34 cents to $2.70
The biotechnology company said early-stage trial data showed its hepatitis C drug proved effective at both lower and once-daily doses.
Electronic Arts Inc., down $1.09 to $17.71
The video game maker forecast a bigger quarterly loss and lower revenue than analysts had expected.
SunPower Corp., down $1.11 to $14.18
The solar-panel maker posted a smaller-than-expected profit as it booked acquisition-related costs and poor weather and delayed projects hurt sales.
