Isle of Capri completes purchase of Rainbow Casino

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis-based Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. has completed its acquisition of Rainbow Casino in Vicksburg, Miss., from Bally Technologies Inc.

Isle of Capri said Wednesday it paid $80 million in the all-cash transaction, which the company says expands its presence in Mississippi and returns it to the Vicksburg market.

James B. Perry, chairman and CEO for Isle of Capri, says the property will eventually be renamed Lady Luck Casino.

Isle of Capri operates 15 casino properties in Mississippi, Louisiana, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado and Florida.
