E.W. Scripps names Naples Daily News publisher
NEW YORK — The E.W. Scripps Co. said Wednesday that Dave Neill, who has served as interim publisher of the Naples Daily News in Florida since April, will assume the role permanently.
Neill, 48, took over from Chris Doyle, who was promoted to vice president of content for the Scripps newspaper division.
Neill joined Scripps as general manager of the Bonita Springs Banner in 2006 and later served in the same position at the Naples Daily News.
