Lincare to start issuing dividends

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Home respiratory therapy company Lincare Holdings Inc. said Monday its board has approved the start of quarterly cash dividends of 20 cents.

The first dividend will be paid on July 29 to stockholders of record as of July 15.

In May, Lincare had declared a three-for-two stock split.

The company’s shares rose 42 cents to $31.18 in after-hours trading, having closed up 26 cents at $30.76.
