Visteon to expand auto parts plant in China
CHANGCHUN, China, — Auto parts maker Visteon Corp. said Tuesday that it and a Chinese partner are expanding a plant in order to make air conditioning and heating equipment.
The 248,000 square-foot facility in northeast China, a joint venture between Visteon and FAWER Automotive Component Co., already makes aluminum radiators.
Visteon said the new plant has the capacity to produce up to 1.2 million brazed radiators, 250,000 mechanical radiators and 240,000 heating and air conditioning units per year.
