O’Keeffe Museum teams up with NM Rail Runner

SANTA FE, N.M. — The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe has teamed up with the New Mexico Rail Runner Express in celebration of the museum’s 13th anniversary.

An “O’Keeffe Express” train excursion is scheduled for July 17th.

A museum spokesman says about 120 tickets are left for the ride from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.

Passengers will board a specially designated train car to hear from museum docents about O’Keeffe’s life and art.

Once they arrive at the station in Santa Fe, they will board buses for a trip to the museum. They will also receive a gift bag and will get a chance to see the current exhibition, “Georgia O’Keeffe: Abstraction.”

The evening will end with a wine reception before passengers return aboard the train to Albuquerque.
