Gannett names VP of mobile ad sales for digital

MCLEAN, Va. — Gannett Co. said Tuesday that it named Craig Etheridge as vice president of mobile advertising sales for its Gannett Digital unit.

Etheridge’s last post was as vice president of emerging platform sales at The Weather Channel.

Gannett said Etheridge will be charged with growing its mobile ad offerings and working on mobile ad sales strategy.
