Gannett declares dividend of 4 cents a share

MCLEAN, Va. — Newspaper publisher Gannett Co. said Tuesday it is leaving its quarterly dividend at 4 cents per share.

The dividend is payable Oct. 1 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 10.

Gannett shares slipped 22 cents to $14.30 in afternoon trading.
