Vistaprint projects fiscal 1st-quarter, full-year income below analyst estimates; shares dive

Vistaprint sees 1Q, full-year income below Street
SEATTLE — Vistaprint NV, which sells business cards, calendars, stickers and other items, on Wednesday guided for fiscal first-quarter and full-year profit below analyst estimates, sending shares tumbling in aftermarket activity.
For the current quarter, Vistaprint expects to post adjusted income of 27 cents to 32 cents per share on $159 million to $164 million in revenue.
Analysts predict adjusted earnings of 46 cents per share on $173 million in revenue, according to a Thomson Reuters survey.
For the full fiscal year, Vistaprint forecast earnings of $2.09 to $2.24 per share on $750 million to $780 million in revenue.
Analysts project earnings of $2.36 per share on $802.6 million in revenue.
Also on Wednesday, Vistaprint said its fiscal fourth-quarter income fell 21 percent on higher costs, The company also reported quarterly revenue below Wall Street estimates.
Shares of Vistaprint dropped $12.29, or 24.5 percent, to $37.97 in extended trading. The stock earlier dipped 33 cents to close at $50.26. Shares have ranged from $39.12 to $62.77 over the past year.
