SonoSite says CFO Schuh retires, Smith promoted
BOTHELL, Wash. — SonoSite Inc. said that Chief Financial Officer Mike Schuh is retiring, and Marcus Smith is taking over as CFO.
The hand-carried ultrasound device maker announced the changes after the markets closed on Tuesday, the day that Schuh’s retirement and Smith’s promotion took effect.
SonoSite said Schuh, 50, will stay with the company through the end of 2010 to help Smith make the transition into his new role.
Schuh worked at SonoSite for 10 years. Smith, 44, joined the company in 2007.
SonoSite shares fell 82 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $28.33 amid a broader market downturn.
