NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — The famous doom and gloomer Gerald Celente is back with a new bunch of predictions up his sleeves. This time he is giving his analysis on President Barack Obama’s attempt to boost the public’s confidence on the economy.

According to Gerald, the director of Trends Research Institute, Obama is selling presidential porn and promising an economic orgasm. He has predicted that the recession is slowly moving towards a depression. Moreover, he is of the opinion that Obama is trying to build confidence so that Americans will get a moral boost about the economy. This will result people to spend more money which will allow business to hire more people. Celente has said that president’s words are nothing but political jargon these days. He argues that the stimulus is merely hiding the symptoms and is not curing the problem.

Celente has mentioned that a new form of alternative energy may help rescue the economy from depression. If the US goes to war with Iran, Celente foresees skyrocketing oil prices, gold prices going through the roof, hyperinflation, unimaginable government crack downs on people, unemployment worse than the Great Depression, crime at unsustainable levels, and people incapable of taking care of themselves.

To make his own future safe, Celente avoids online banking and stock market. He only invests upon gold and hedges in different currencies for wealth preservation.
