WW Grainger’s August daily sales rise 20 percent, helped by acquisitions

WW Grainger sales rise in August
CHICAGO — W.W. Grainger Inc., a supplier of industrial maintenance and safety products, said Monday that daily sales in August rose 20 percent compared with a year ago.
Results were helped by acquisitions.
U.S. sales rose 15 percent and Canada sales rose 19 percent, the company said.
W.W. Grainger shares rose 17 cents to $114.90 in morning trading.
