Wright Express completes buyout of Australian unit

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — Wright Express Corp., a payment processor for commercial and government trucking fleets, has completed its buyout of the Australian fleet and prepaid card businesses of Retail Decisions for $318 million.

The all-cash deal was originally announced in late July. The company said in a news release Wednesday the deal with private equity firm Palamon Capital Partners and its co-investors Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners and AlpInvest Partners has closed.
