Cameco board raises annual dividend 17 pct
SASKATOON, Canada — Cameco Corp. said Thursday its board raised its annual dividend by 17 percent to 28 cents per share from 24 cents, starting in 2010.
The board also declared a quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share to be paid Jan. 15 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 31.
Cameco, based in Saskatoon in Canada’s Saskatchewan province, is a uranium producer.
Its U.S.-listed shares rose 23 cents to close at $31.21.
