Jazz Pharmaceuticals appoints ARCA executive as new chief financial officer

Jazz Pharmaceuticals appoints ARCA exec as CFO

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Jazz Pharmaceuticals Inc., a drug developer, said Thursday it has named Kathryn E. Falberg as chief financial officer.

Falberg was most recently CFO of ARCA biopharma Inc., which she joined in 2009. Before that, she was an investor and consultant. She has also worked as CFO at Amgen Inc.

Shares of Jazz, based in Palo Alto, Calif., fell 7 cents to $7.52 in afternoon trading.
