Wolverine World Wide President and CEO Blake Krueger to take over as chairman

Wolverine World Wide CEO to also become chairman
ROCKFORD, Mich. — Wolverine World Wide Inc. on Thursday appointed President and Chief Executive Blake Krueger as chairman of its board of directors, succeeding Timothy Donovan, who will remain on the board.
Krueger has been an executive at the 126-year-old shoe company for more than 16 years. Krueger said he will focus on global growth opportunities. The position change is effective Jan. 1.
Wolverine World Wide owns such brands as Merrell, Sebago and Hush Puppies.
Wolverine World Wide shares rose 5 cents to close at $26.63.
