Northrop names 3 new execs in electronics systems

LINTHICUM, Md. — Defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. on Monday made three new executive appointments as part of a reorganization of its electronic systems unit.

Gloria A. Flach was named vice president and general manager of the targeting systems division. Jeffrey Q. Palombo was appointed vice president and general manager of the land and self-protection systems division. John C. Johnson was named vice president and general manager of the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems division.

All three are longtime company employees. The appointments are effective Jan. 1.

Flach and Johnson will be located at the company’s Electronic Systems sector headquarters in Linthicum, Md., while Palombo will be based at the company’s Rolling Meadows, Ill., facility.

Shares of Northrop Grumman rose 49 cents to close at $56.21.
