Metal manufacturer announces expansion in Miss.
ASHLAND, Miss. — Abby Manufacturing has announced it will locate a fabricated structural metal operation in Benton County, Miss.
Officials say the plant will create about 35 new jobs at the Ashland, Miss., facility. Twenty-five of those jobs are already in place.
The Mississippi Development Authority is providing the city with a $90,000 grant and the county with a $353,000 grant for infrastructure improvements to accommodate the expansion.
Abby Manufacturing also has a facility in Walnut, Miss., in Tippah County.
Abby Manufacturing provides operations and maintenance solutions to numerous freight airline companies. The company also fabricates motor mounts, all-terrain vehicle implements and trailers.
