Product Recalls: body building products
The following recall has been announced:
— MuscleMaster.com Inc. is recalling certain body building products because they might contain steroids. Steroid use can damage the liver and may cause other serious long-term health consequences in men, women and children. The Northborough, Mass., company said it has not received any complaints of illnesses or injuries.
The company is recalling all lots and expiration dates of 17 dietary supplements sold between June 1 and Nov. 17, 2009. MuscleMaster.com, an Internet retailer, said it was informed by the Food and Drug Administration that the agency believes the recalled products contain ingredients that are steroids.
