Host Hotels & Resorts says quarterly cash dividend will resume in 1st quarter

Host Hotels plans to reinstate quarterly dividend

BETHESDA, Md. — Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. said Wednesday that it will reinstate its quarterly cash dividend during its first quarter. The payment will be a penny per share.

The company last paid a quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share in January 2009.

In mid-December, Host paid a special common dividend of 25 cents per share to shareholders of record as of Nov. 6. About 10 percent of that dividend was paid with cash and the remainder was with Host’s common stock.
