Recalls: “Pirates of the Caribbean” trundle beds
The following recall has been announced:
— About 2,000 “Pirates of the Caribbean” twin trundle beds, made in China and a distributed by Bayside Furnishings, a division of Whalen, of San Diego, Calif., because the headboard’s storage bin poses an entrapment hazard to young children. A 4-year-old boy’s head became stuck in the opening of the storage bin, and he sustained bruises on his ears. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” trademark is embossed on a metal plate in the headboard.
