Product recalls: maze boards, TV wall mounts

The following recalls have been announced:

— About 18,500 magnetic maze boards, manufactured in China by Lakeshore Learning Materials of Carson, Calif., because the wand can separate and expose a magnet. This could pose a choking hazard. Also if more than one magnet is swallowed, the magnets can attract each other and cause potentially fatal intestinal perforations or blockages. The company has received 10 reports of detached magnets, but no reports of injuries. The boards were sold at Lakeshore Learning Materials stores nationwide, as well as through the company’s website and catalog, between January 2009 and May 2010.
