Rollins fires CEO’s son after lawsuit over trusts
ATLANTA — Pest and termite control company Rollins Inc. said Tuesday it has fired the CEO’s son, Glen Rollins, who was executive vice president of the company and president of subsidiaries including Orkin.
The company said Glen Rollins and his siblings have also recently filed a lawsuit against their father, CEO Gary Rollins; their uncle, chairman R. Randall Rollins; and board member Henry Tippie.
R. Randall Rollins and Gary Rollins are brothers.
The lawsuit relates to the executives’ role as trustees of certain Rollins family trusts, the company said, and is not related to company operations.
The company said Gary Rollins will take over Glen Rollins’ responsibilities for the time being.
