F5 Networks appoints Chapple to board of directors

SEATTLE — F5 Networks Inc., whose products manage and route computer network traffic, said Monday that it appointed Hawkeye Investments LLC president John Chapple to its board of directors.

Chapple has more than 25 years of experience in wireless communications and cable television, it said.

Chapple has served as president, CEO and chairman of Nextel Partners prior to its acquisition by Sprint Communications in 2006. He was also executive vice president of operations at AT&T Wireless Services.
