Best Buy, HB Fuller, Arena Pharma are big movers
NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Corning Inc., up 80 cents at $17.61
The specialty glass maker cut its outlook as LCD panel makers ordered less, but said demand for LCD TVs from consumers remained strong.
Best Buy Co., up $2.08 at $36.73 The electronics retailer’s growing cell phone business helped boost quarterly profit, and it raised its guidance for the year.
Kroger Co., up 22 cents at $21.26
The country’s largest grocery chain said revenue and profit grew in the second quarter, and it was upbeat about sales trends.
Cliffs Natural Resources Inc., down $4.37 at $63.18
The mining company said it expects lower volume from some coal operations and trimmed its estimate for North American coal revenue per ton.
H.B. Fuller Co., down $1.73 at $19.27
The chemicals maker’s quarterly profit declined as raw material costs escalated more than the company’s prices, hurting profit margins.

Zumiez Inc., up $2.79 at $20.20
The sportswear retailer boosted its third-quarter earnings forecast beyond expectations of Wall Street analysts.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc., down 65 cents at $34.59
The coffee seller is buying its competitor, Van Houtte, for $890 million in an attempt to expand in the Canadian market.
Arena Pharmaceuticals Inc., down $2.72 at $4.13
The FDA said the drug developer’s experimental diet pill produced minimal weight loss and raised concerns about dangerous side effects.
