SJW names KPMG audit partner Lynch as CFO
SAN JOSE, Calif. — SJW Corp., the parent of San Jose Water Co. and an operator of commercial buildings, said Friday that James Lynch would become its chief financial officer and treasurer, replacing David Green, who resigned on Thursday.
Lynch begins on Monday.
In a securities filing, the company did not give a reason for Green’s resignation, but noted that he will receive a lump sum severance payment of $65,000 in April and be reimbursed for health care insurance expenses up to $16,500 through the end of the year.
Prior to joining SJW, Lynch, 51, was an audit partner at KPMG LLP, and has worked there for 26 years.
SJW shares rose 42 cents to close at $25.05.
